2018-2020
Photowalks span the whole of Hong Kong, inviting photographers and photography lovers to explore every district and capture the city’s diverse rhythms and stories.
Between February 2018 to July 2020, over 65 photowalks were organised with the aim to encourage the public to explore both famous and lesser-known places in Hong Kong. Groups are usually with 10 or less participants. All walks began in one of the stations within the Hong Kong Mass Transit network (MTR), while occasionally the theme will be based on local cultural events. The route was flexible and participants were encouraged to suggest and share their experiences in each area. Periodical photo reviews were carried out to discuss the works of participants.
